Infrastructure Manager – UK

We are seeking a highly motivated Infrastructure Manager to join our global technology team who has

at least 3 years’ experience leading and successfully managing infrastructure projects (within media/production technology preferred),

ITIL V3 Foundation certification and at least 3 years’ experience working in an ITIL based organization,

– proficiency in servers, storage, virtualization, cloud services, desktop (MacOS & Windows 10), database, print, media/file, directory services and messaging (Office 365) with recognized technology certification

– good technical understanding of system architecture and technology systems.

This management role will be working with a team of initially 7 direct reports and will be responsible for shaping, planning and delivering SDI Media’s global infrastructure programme.

This role will not only be responsible for delivering infrastructure solutions, but will be responsible for coaching and developing the infrastructure team, managing stakeholder expectations and actively contributing to the implementation of ITIL good practice across the technology group.

Most importantly, this role is a key driver for continual service improvement .

This role is based in the London office with a team located across the globe from Europe to Los Angeles to Hong Kong, therefore remote management of people is a strong requirement.

Proven and demonstrable project management skills will be needed to successfully deliver our project portfolio which spans storage systems, virtualisation technologies, mixed PC and MacOS desktop estate, media delivery systems, co-location and cloud based services.

Keeping an eye out for future developments, this role will work closely with our Enterprise Architect, external vendors and the global technology team to shape solutions that meet current and future business needs.
