Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic Technical Project Manager with a passion for technology and customer service to join our global technology team. Ideal candidates will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience of managing multiple concurrent technology focused projects and defining detailed project plans to successfully deliver against business objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of all technology infrastructure and networking systems including switches, routers, firewalls, servers, storage, virtualisation, desktop, database, print, media/file, directory services and messaging.
  • Strong Prince 2 (or equivalent), ISO20000 and ITIL knowledge, with foundation level certification for ITIL and Prince 2 (or equivalent) expected, intermediate or expert qualification preferred.

The SDI Media global IT Operations team operates a number of enterprise class technologies across 35 locations in 27 countries. This includes HPE Synergy, HPE Apollo & Qumulo, Dell/EMC Isilon, Palo Alto and Fortigate firewalls, Cisco ASAs, Meraki wireless, Cisco ISE and Brocade (Ruckus), Mellanox switching, VMWare, AWS, Lenovo and HP PCs.

As part of the IT Operations team the role will be instrumental in supporting our IT colleagues to deliver business transforming projects with an emphasis on quality and supportability.

In your position supporting the delivery of business-critical projects you will need to work flexible hours as this team operates across multiple time zones.

This role is based in our London office with a team located across the globe from Europe to Los Angeles to Hong Kong, therefore an ability to work well remotely with a distributed team is vital and there will be opportunity for international travel to our different offices.
